Amazingly and shockingly, we just saw the last of Kenny Powers. I sure as hell didn’t realize I was seeing the last of him when I was watching it.
Until the car blew up.
It was a well-timed ending. I certainly felt like the show had pretty much nothing left to offer and it’s not surprising that a show that relied on extremes killed off the main character in such a sudden and violent way.
In fact, while he was standing on the mound, my wife and I were debating whether he was going to life happily ever after with his baby mama or not.
And then…
He wasn’t dead anymore. He knocked on his baby mama’s door with a big blonde head of hair — devoting his undying love for their family.
Now I’m like, what a p***y ass way to end this s**t. It was hard core for a minute, deep even, letting Kenny die was badass. But no, they had to take it in some bulls**t romantic comedy direction and make Kenny fake his own death.
My wife thought it was a “cute” ending. That’s all I needed to hear.
This is bulls**t and we deserve better. I’m done with this s**t. Now I wish he had died.
